Born in 1941 in Beirut, Lebanon, Georges Misk,
began his career in art at a very early age;
student of Cesar Gemayel,
a leading figure in Lebanese painting,
who taught him the classical painting techniques.

Georges Misk had also an interest in sculpting,
as well as architecture and design,
he shifted his work to architecture in the 1960s
he became one of the leading interior architects
in the Arab countries especially in Beirut and Dubai,
decorating homes and palaces.

In the late 80s he moved back to Lebanon and opened
an Antiques & Art Gallery.
With his wide artistic talent and reputation
for being an experienced conservator,
he is also renowned for art restoration
such as old classical museum pieces of art,
from paintings to sculptures as well as famous glass art...
( Galle, Daum..).

Presently Georges Misk is living between Montreal,
Beirut, and Birmingham, Michigan.
He dedicates his time to classical and modern art,
from special portrait orders,
to his latest collection of modern paintings.
